We had a great November with Halloween shoots and loads of gorgeous men and women coming in for portfolio shoots. Here are some of the emails Thomas Street Studios got back when we asked some of our clients for a little feedback to help us improve our services.

Shoot Type: Commercial Modelling Portfolio Shoot

Feedback: I decided to make a portfolio aimed at commercial modelling because I read online that it is the biggest bit of the modelling biz. The ten photos I got were pretty good and covered everything I needed to make a proper portfolio. My headshots are the best out of all of them and I'm really excited to hear back from the agencies I sent them to!

Shoot Type: Family

Feedback: We love the photos and got one blown up and put on canvas to put above our fireplace. Glad we had the idea to come down because the kids are still small and will hopefully enjoy looking at the photos for posterity some day.

Shoot Type: Body Parts Modelling Portfolio Shoot

Feedback: I wanted a body parts portfolio because I don't think I fit in any other categories of modelling strongly enough to have a good chance and I have really nice hands and feet. Everyone tells me that so it was an easy choice really. I'm hoping to get some catalogue work in 2015 but still need to send my photos to agencies. Too much work!

To get your hair back on track again there are a few things you can do. First of all it would be a good idea to stop colouring your hair as much as you have been doing. Only colour it if you really have to. Over colouring your hair will eventually cause your hair to snap, which makes the situation even worse. It’s also a good idea to get all the split ends cut off your hair if you can. This will help improve the appearance of your hair for the time being.

Assuming you’re not as connected as Cara Delaney, or as lucky as Kate Moss and your still not famous past your 18th birthday worry not, the game is not over yet. Fashion models are both male and female models that wear the latest trends in fashion and exhibit them at fashion shows. The fashion world sees constant changes by the turn of the season, and all of the latest designer clothing and trends are adorned by these fashion models. Generally, a fashion model is the prime focus of attention at fashion shows, they are the center of attention.

A good fashion model has bags of confidence. They are a reflection of the clothes they wear. Fashion models have to take a great deal of criticism and commenting from others, so it is very important that they are able to control their temper and keep themselves composed – remember, they may be just cussing the clothes. However, a great fashion model will have a great deal of popularity and fame, and be featured in many magazines.

Therefore, it is very important that you are able to show yourself as an example to others. Generally, the experienced models of the modelling agency that get a better response and are more easily recognized are the ones that get to wear the latest fashion that everyone else wants. Many of the models also get contracted by various fashion houses and designer firms depending on their look. Fashion models can even get to model exclusively for the fashion house only, making it easy for the designers to get exclusive modelling from these models.
